Women’s-Only Classes: Trans women are welcome to attend women’s-only sessions. We recognize that these classes provide a space for comfort, support, and growth, and we will address any concerns with sensitivity and respect.
Respect & Confidentiality: Any discussions or concerns regarding gender identity will be handled with discretion. We respect each individual’s right to privacy and self-identification.
Case-by-Case Consideration: We acknowledge the close-contact nature of BJJ and will approach each situation thoughtfully, ensuring fairness and safety for all participants.
Zero Tolerance for Discrimination: Any form of discrimination, harassment, or exclusion based on gender identity or expression will not be tolerated. Any incidents should be reported to our safeguarding team.
If any member experiences or witnesses discrimination, exclusion, or any behavior that contradicts this policy, they should report it to the academy’s safeguarding team. Reports can be made in confidence via our safe guarding page here.
This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains current and effective in promoting equality and inclusion at RGA Buckingham.
