Complete Martial Arts Training
Mixed Martial Arts combines techniques from several combat sports into one complete and effective system. During our MMA classes, you will learn how to strike safely, control distance, complete takedowns and continue working effectively on the ground.
Sessions are structured so that students can develop each area progressively. Therefore, you do not need previous experience in boxing, kickboxing, wrestling or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu before attending.

Your First Session
We will help you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. There is no expectation to be fit, experienced or ready to spar.
Arrive a little early so that we can welcome you, show you around the academy and explain how the class works.
The coach will guide you through the warm-up and introduce the techniques being covered during the session.
You will work with suitable partners and can take breaks whenever needed. Sparring is not compulsory for new students.

No. Complete beginners are welcome. Our coaches will introduce the basic positions, movements and techniques progressively.
No. New students are not expected to spar immediately. You can focus on learning technique and building confidence before taking part in controlled live training.
Wear comfortable sports clothing such as a fitted T-shirt or rashguard with shorts or leggings. Clothing should not contain zips, metal fastenings or anything sharp.
Contact us before your first session and we can advise you about equipment. You do not need to purchase a complete set of MMA equipment before trying a class.
Yes. Many students train recreationally without any intention of competing. MMA is an excellent way to improve fitness, coordination, strength and confidence.
Yes. Our sessions are also suitable for experienced martial artists and competitors who want to develop their striking, wrestling and grappling.
