1. Introduction
Welcome to Roger Gracie Academy Buckingham (“RGA Buckingham”). By signing up for membership, attending classes, or using our facilities, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all students, visitors, and members of RGA Buckingham.
2. Membership & Fees
2.1. Membership fees must be paid in full and on time, as agreed upon at the time of registration.
2.2. All memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.
2.3. RGA Buckingham reserves the right to adjust membership fees with prior notice.
2.4. Failure to pay fees may result in suspension or termination of membership.
3. Class Participation & Conduct
3.1. Members must follow all academy rules and instructor guidance.
3.2. Any inappropriate behavior, harassment, or misconduct may result in suspension or termination of membership.
3.3. Members must wear appropriate attire, including academy-approved gi or no-gi gear where applicable.
3.4. Hygiene is essential; all members must maintain personal cleanliness and trim fingernails and toenails to prevent injury.
3.5. No unauthorized coaching or instruction is permitted during classes.
4. Health & Safety
4.1. Members must complete a waiver and medical declaration before training.
4.2. Participation in martial arts involves inherent risks, including injury. Members accept full responsibility for their participation.
4.3. Any injuries or medical conditions must be reported to instructors before training.
4.4. The academy reserves the right to refuse training to anyone deemed unfit or unsafe to participate.
5. Facility Use & Equipment
5.1. Members must respect the facility, equipment, and training area. Any damage caused by negligence may result in a charge for repairs.
5.2. No shoes, food, or drinks (except water) are allowed on the mats.
5.3. Personal belongings should be stored in designated areas; RGA Buckingham is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
6. Cancellations & Termination
6.1. Members may cancel their membership with written notice as per the cancellation policy.
6.2. RGA Buckingham reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships due to misconduct, non-payment, or breach of terms.
6.3. No refunds will be issued for unused portions of membership.
7. Liability Waiver
7.1. Members acknowledge that participation in training is at their own risk.
7.2. RGA Buckingham, its instructors, and staff are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred while training or using the facilities.
7.3. Members agree to release RGA Buckingham from any claims arising from participation in classes or use of the academy’s facilities.
8. Photography & Media
8.1. RGA Buckingham may take photos or videos of classes for promotional purposes.
8.2. If a member does not wish to be included in media, they must notify the academy in writing.
9. Amendments
9.1. RGA Buckingham reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes.
